Formed in 2008 by all of the group members. Sonar Instinct is a group of friends or brothers who share the same passion in music. They started by playing cover songs electrically and acoustically on mini gigs at restaurants like Saddad's Fusion, Ileq-ileq Cafe and Emilie Cafe. 

Then, the band also start to involve on street performances at waterfront. After tough years on sharing the same passion, they wrote "Berfikir Di Luar Kotak" as their first song. Since then, each members has pulled out efforts tremendously and as a band, they still stick together today.
