The band (7Kamang) was started from the man named Aiedo.. In the early days of the band, Aiedo has led his colleagues to play a few songs and intends to set up a music group which named 7kamang ... (7kamang 2011: Aiedo, vocal & guitar :: Niel, first Guitar :: Ajoe, bassist :: Tim, Drummer) One year together in the band (7kamang), they've brought a few songs wrote by Aiedo and have upload some of their video clip on youtube. After a year later, Tim (drummer) has withdrawn from the band, because he wants to pursue a career in another field. It was not until a year after the departure of Tim, Ajoe & Niel also has withdrawn, for the same reason. Aiedo, then returned alone with 7kamang for one year. In the short time, then Aiedo has met with several other partners agree to continue the band 7kamang, ... but their names have not yet announced as an official member of the band .. Stay tune...7K will be come back soon to Rocking !!! YEAHHH!

Why 7kamang??

'KAMANG' means Spirit in Bidayuh (Bukar / Sadong) ... according to the Bidayuh beliefs, they have 7 power of the spirit in charge of their well-being in their communities ..

That's all ancient Bidayuh beliefs, where their lives are affected by a number of spirits of the dead or even an extraordinary spirit that they believe could lead to their reward or catastrophe.

Taking 7kamang name for the band, is only for the commemoration of the old things have long forgotten by the Bidayuh community. In the meantime, we are aware that the band sang the song in the Bidayuh language, so why not we named the band also in the Bidayuh language!!!???
