Rebel Crash is generally a heavy metal band from Kuching, Sarawak. Formed in March 2009, the band decided to play their first battle of the bands while all of them of them were studying in Form 6.

At first, the band went through under several names, from ‘Navigator’ to ‘Radical Massacre’ before unanimously chosen ‘Rebel Crash’ as their current and permanent name for the band. It was randomly taken from a shirt that was worn by one of the band-mate’s close friend, despite the grammatical mistake.

The next year, the band started to play at gigs, showcases and battle of the bands actively around town to gain experiences and more exposures especially in Malaysia's underground music scene.

The original line-up of Rebel Crash comprised of Ben as vocalist and rhythm guitar, Rudy as lead guitarist, Elmo as bassist and Manuel as drummer. However, this wasn’t the solid and appropriate line-up of the band. The more stable line-up of the band came to form when they recruited Felix to replace Manuel for the drummer position. Whereas, Rudy left the band coincidentally, due to personal reason when all of the original band members were having their STPM examinations.

Thus, the first solid line-up of the band comprised of Ben as vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Manuel as lead guitarist, Elmo as bassist, and Felix as drummer. Later, Charley, one of our close friends, replaced Elmo to play at a showcase for a short time as the latter left due to work commitment. But, the band soon returned to its original line-up when Elmo is already available for the band. However, Elmo once again had to leave because of study commitment and unable to focus on the band's activity often. Hence, they took Rudy back into the band but as a bassist.

Since then, Rebel Crash has been improving themselves, as well as gaining experiences and knowledge in music production in order to create the great metal records that they aspired.

Now, they are writing songs and finding materials to record and release their singles one at a time, then eventually releasing a full EP in the future, although personal obligations and study/work commitments have been delaying those efforts for some time.
