Hevance’s music style would be best described as freestyle/modern rock, citing music influences for their mini album by bands like Peterpan, Coldplay, Evenstarr, and Flop Poppy. Semampai Ngenang will be their first Iban song written by FMS using the elements of pop music.
The main aim of the band is to generate a music revolution as what has been done by Iban’s first pop alternative band, Ethnic Transmissions (ET). This will help build a new direction in the Iban/Sarawakian music industry which is being dominated by joget/dangdut music scene. The Band also seeks to encourage more youngsters to turn out with their own songs, and make Iban/Sarawakian music industry livelier.
